Today was the solar eclipse. We headed out north (west of Paulden) to get a glimpse. I brought my new ipad with the star walk feature to track it easier. Of course Cody found a dead cow, so he took the kids over to look at it... gross :) but they had fun. They loved being on the top of our Suburban and using my sunglasses to view the eclipse (since we didn't have time to make those viewers)... it was neat watching how the color the sun projected onto the earth was so hazy during the eclipse... the camera took a reflective shot, which was wierd but cool... it was fun.
