Every General Conference Priesthood Session us girls (Mom J., Traci, April, and I) get to pamper ourselves... we usually all meet at Pei Wei's, then we go and get pedicures at Super Pauline's in Scottsdale, and then do a little shopping at Kohls... it's SO fun! And kid free :) Afterwards, we meet back up with the men to get some Dairy Queen.

The one to the right is mine... the sun blared out my pretty flowers, but I got pink with glitter on top, and then flowers on my big toenails... they are super cute and springy!

Last night after Xander went to bed, he asked if he could have a piece of paper and a crayon to draw the tooth fairy a picture... how could I refuse? He woke up this morning to find a gold dollar under his lion... I would say pillow, but he sleeps with his big stuffed lion. The picture and the tooth were gone! Then he was quick to ask if he could go to Target so he could go to the dollar section and buy something.

1st Tooth!

Xander lost his first tooth today at 12:34pm!

 

He pulled it out himself, was working on it all morning,... all of a sudden I hear from the bathroom... "Mommy! My tooth just came out, and I pulled it out all by myself! HA!" He came running to me to show it off, and then after taking some pics, watched "The Tooth Fairy" with the Rock. He is so excited to put it under his pillow.

 

He also said, "Hailey and I will sort of be like twinnies!" He is so cute!

Took some pictures with my phone today in the car while waiting for Hailey to get out of school...the quality of the pixels aren't the best, but the quality of his smiles are!

eight months

Weston has matured into a 2 toothed, very mobile, smiley little young man of eight months! We love him so much!!! He is hilarious, and always makes us smile. He loves to try to eat our food, but is content with his finger snacks and homemade baby food... today was broccoli and cauliflower! (I never made the baby food until Weston) I miss his gummy smile, but his two teeth are adorable!

Laundry Quote

I have to keep remembering this every time I am doing a load of laundry... which is always SEVERAL times a day ... aka... the neverending story, especially with girls who love to change their clothes several times a day, and little boys who love to get dirty...

snow day!

We got our first snow day ever!!! YEAH!

No school, Spring Break has been extended :)

The kids had SUCH a fun time playing in the snow, eating icicles, making a snowman, and running inside to warm themselves by the fireplace.

sPrInG bReAk

We spent the week of {Spring Break} in Prescott Valley - playing at the park with Hailey's friend, Hannah, renting and watching movies, and of course- doing some spring cleaning! On Thursday after Cody got off work, we drove to Utah to see my family. We had a great weekend there. Friday - Hailey loved going to school with her Gramma, Xander got to go to a Harley shop with Papa and his Daddy, I took an exam that morning,... Brielle, Weston and I played until everyone came home. Cody and I snuck on a date that night... it was fun! Saturday we went to Trafalga in Lehi - my parents bought us annual passes so we can do trafalga and seven peaks, plus more! Saturday night was game time, shopping, and hanging out. I went to bed sad on Saturday night, knowing we would be leaving right after Sacrament Meeting the next morning. I really hate goodbyes. Sunday - went to Sacrament Meeting, the kids' "Grandpa Great" spoke, and we left right after Sacrament Meeting was over. There was a winter storm going crazy, and through the faithfulness and prayer of my oldest, we made it safe back home. Its amazing to watch even the storm separate on both sides of us to let us through the "cliffy" parts (like the I-20 - after Beaver on the I-15 in route to Panguitch on the 89). A trip that usually takes 8 hours took us 11... and not just because of the weather... our kids had to go to the bathroom in every town... but that was probably part of Heavenly Father's plan for our safety.

We had a lot of fun in Utah, and can't wait to go back... next time will be for my brother Jason's wedding!

My parents' "Grandchildren" wall (we updated the pictures while we were there) it was funny because I told my mom that she had a surprise inside, she thought I was changing her "scoreboard" HAHA! Sorry :)

Weston loves animals, and has no fear. My parents dog, Beauty just lets him crawl all over her and pull and yank on her fur, and she does nothing... what a good dog! He would be crawling around and Beauty would come up to him and he'd be smiling... Beauty would start licking his face and he'd just crack up. (Beauty is a Sheltie Collie)

2nd Tooth

Yesterday Hailey told me she felt a second tooth in Weston's mouth... not that I didn't believe her, but I didn't check until this morning... sure enough! They're popping in now!

First Tooth!

Weston has been our slowest teether... but one finally popped through this morning (I know cause I check all the time). I did enjoy his gummy smiles, but it's always fun to get to this milestone! Good job growing your bottom right tooth my handsome little guy!
